Eight schools named after Governor’s relatives - MP

Eight schools under construction in the Eastern Province have been named after Eastern Province Governor M.L.A.M. Hisbullah’s close relatives, UNP MP Prof. Ashu Marasinghe said.

He said the Governor’s attempt was to create a Hisbullah zone in the Eastern Province.He said a thorough investigation should be conducted in this connection. This proposal would be moved in Parliament soon. He said funds that have been channelled to construct these schools fraudulently. (CN and SM)
