Sketches of Kingsbury bomber’s accomplice released

An officer attached to the Police Criminal Records Division has drawn four sketches of a suspect who was involved in fixing seats to the explosive-laden van which was found near St. Anthony’s Church. These sketches were drawn based on information given by four witnesses. Security Forces diffused the explosives found in the van by controlled explosion.

Investigations revealed that the van’s registered owner was the suicide bomber who blew himself up at the Kingsbury Hotel. Police seek information on this individual, who had arrived at the scene with the suicide bomber on the day of the attacks.

Any information on him can be given to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on 011-2422176 or 011-2392900.
