Cabinet nod for policy recommendations on restructuring SriLankan Airlines

Cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposal presented by President Maithripala Sirisena to immediately implement the policy recommendations of the Committee of Experts for restructuring SriLankan Airlines.

The Committee chaired by Finance State Minister Eran Wickremaratne presented its report to the President in January.

The report has given recommendations on financial and institutional restructuring, making a strategic plan and business plan, restructuring human resource, assuring an independent procurement system and brand promotion etc.
