Hameed Al Husseinie College Colombo Group of 80s conducted the Oxford President Cup Inter School Invitation Football Tournament 2019 final at the Race Course grounds, Colombo recently.
Hameed Al Husseinie College Colombo beat Thihariya Al Azar Central College 2-1 in the final.
Captain of the champion team Hameed Al Husseinie College M.S.M. Safrin received Oxford President Trophy from chief guest Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
Runner up team Thihariya Al Azar Central College and third placed Kalutara Central Muslim College too received trophies and medals.
Best Goal Keeper of the Tournament - Golden Glove - M.F.M.Safrin (Hameed Al Husseinie College, Best Player of the Final - M.N.M.Afkar (Hameed Al Husseinie College), Highest Goal Scorer of the Tournament - Golden Boot - M.M.M.Imran (Al Azhar Central College) and Most Valuable Player of the tournament - Dinesh Suren (Hameed Al Husseinie College) received trophies and medals for their achievements.
