Over 23 suspects arrested, 114 army uniforms seized in Kurunegala

Police and STF personnel detected 114 army uniforms and arrested over 23 suspects on May 6 in Kurunegala.

Over 262 CDs with lectures of terrorist leaders were detected as well. A woman selling fruits near the Kurunegala Bus Stand was arrested with 11 mobile phones.

Several suspects were arrested from Puttalam, Kandy, Batticaloa Kalawanchchikudi, and Akurana.

DIG Wasantha Kithsiri Jayalath led the search operation.
