State Minister commends South for maintaining peace

State Fisheries Minister and Aquatic Resources Minister Dilip Wedaarachchi commended the people of the South for maintaining peace between the communities following the Easter Sunday attacks.

He was speaking at a meeting in Nakulugamuwa, recently. The minister said that certain politicians attempted to exploit the Easter Sunday tragedy for personal gains, while others attempted to spread misinformation.

Minister Wedaarachchi said that the nation should stand together in this time of tragedy.
