Drones banned

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has banned the use of drones and unmanned aircraft within Sri Lankan airspace temporarily following the Easter Sunday bomb attacks.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that the ban will be in effect until further notice. The temporary ban follows the deadly suicide attacks in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday which killed over 350 persons.

Emergency regulations have been enforced and the Security Forces are engaged in a massive search operation throughout the country to arrest suspects linked to the terror network involved in the attacks.
