Abu Bakar Mohamed Bathurdeen, who was arrested with notorious underworld figure ‘Makandure Madush’ in Dubai was deported to Sri Lanka on 24th morning and he was taken into custody by officers of the CID at the airport for questioning.
Criminal Investigation Division attached to the BIA have revealed that the suspect had a close connection with underworld figure Makandure Madush and Kanjipani Imran.
The suspect has been handed over to the CCD.
