Mohamed Dilshan (78 runs) and Thulith Nelaka (63 runs) and a fine bowling spell of 4/30 by Ayesh Lakmal enabled Capricorn CC beat SL Lawyers CC in their BCCISL Division III cricket match played at Dehiwala Central College grounds recently.
Batting first, Capricorn CC scored 243 runs with Dilshan and Thulith making top scores. In reply, SL Lawyers CC were skittled out for 228 by the strong Capricorn CC bowling attack.
Ershan Ariyaratne (56 runs) and Buwaneka Basnayaka (43 runs) scored best for Lawyers. Ayesh Lakmal did a fine job with the ball to capture 4/30 while K. Shakeer and Ambalagan Hariharan took two wickets each.
