Athurugiriya police investigates after steel corporation blast

The investigations have begun on information received by the Athurugiriya Police about an explosion of a tank stored in furnace oil at the Steel Corporation at Oruwala in Athurugiriya Police Division.

The explosion caused an employee to be injured and hospitalized; no other person or property was damaged.

The fire Brigade of the Kotte Municipal Council controlled the situation.

Athurugiriya Police are Continuing investigations.
