The 12 senior undergraduates of the Wayamba University in Kuliyapitiya, in custody over ragging, were granted bail by Kuliyapitiya Magistrate Janani S. Wijetunga.

They were granted bail on April 5 under tough conditions.

A cash bail of Rs. 250,000 was granted to each student while relatives of the suspects were ordered to be guarantors.
