Lanka Sathosa reduces prices from today

Lanka Sathosa Deputy General Manager Roshan S Hassan said, the prices of 200 essential food items will be reduced in line with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

Accordingly, the reduced prices of food items which will be in effect from today are

• Red Dhal been reduced from Rs.112 to Rs.110
• Local Samba been reduced from Rs.88 to Rs.84
• Red Rice been reduced from Rs.59 to Rs.57
• White Rice been reduced from Rs.70 to Rs.67
• White Sugar been reduced from Rs.99 to Rs.97
• Sprats been reduced from Rs.680 to Rs.669
• Canned Fish been reduced from Rs.200 to Rs.195
• Big Onions been reduced from Rs.79 to Rs.75
