Former Navy Commander Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe assumed duties as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Ports and Shipping and Southern Development at the Ministry on Monday morning. Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe served as the Commander of Sri Lanka Navy from October 26, 2017 until his retirement on January 1,2019.
