Discussions on IT, transport and logistics as well as food processing equipment and cold chain management were held at the event. The trade fair mainly served as a platform to conduct business with numerous specialist buyers operating in the Eastern European market and to acquire knowledge or exchange experiences in conferences and workshops with influential industry experts.

Damro Tea (PVT) Ltd won the gold medal for the best beverage in the drinks sector at the fair.

The Sri Lankan pavilion was opened by Sri Lankan Ambassador to Poland C. A. H. M. Wijeratne. Sri Lankan Embassy in Warsaw encourages more participation from Sri Lankan companies at the fair in the future. The next World Food Poland will take place in March 2020 in Warsaw.
