Rains destroy Walasmulla paddy farmers’ harvest

Paddy farmers in Walasmulla lost their harvest this season in the torrential rains. They said the rains hampered harvesting and eventually they could not receive anything from the devastated paddy harvest.

The farmers said they got a bumper harvest this season, but the heavy rains destroyed them all.
