Trishaw drivers rally round to provide better service

Members of the Batticaloa Three Wheeler Owners’ Welfare Association met Batticaloa Mayor T. Saravanapavan, Commissioner K. Siththiravel and Councillors yesterday,

They agreed at the meeting to register their three wheelers with the council, fix meters, affix stickers that the council issues on their vehicles and wear a uniform.

The mayor said the council will streamline the service and encourage three wheeler drivers to provide the public a better service.
