Mangala, a good-hearted person

Paying a glowing tribute to Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera who celebrated 30 years in politics yesterday, President Maithripala Sirisena said the minister has always been a good-hearted person.

Minister Samaraweera celebrated 30 years in politics with a ceremony titled ‘Dare to Dream of a new Sri Lanka’ at the BMICH.

The President said: “He has always being committed to his work and is a decent human being who is capable of winning over anyone with his honest and sincere mannerisms.He is very clever and capable and knowledgeable and the country needs more and more people of his calibre,” the President said.
