SLAVF supports school sports

Colombo Lumbini College celebrated its 90th Birth Anniversary on February 18, under the patronage of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force( SLAVF).

The chief guest of the event was Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Deputy Commandant, Major General L.F. Kasthuriarachchi, who is an old boy of the College.

Gym and exercise equipment worth nearly Rs. one million were donated to the school development fund by the Army Volunteer Force, the Olympia Gym Equipment and Sports Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo.

College athletes received certificates from the SLAVF Deputy Commandant. SLAVF Sports Officer, Lt. Colonel Subasinghe was also present at the event.
