An all night Pirith Chanting was held on Thursday to commemorate the 133rd birth anniversary of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) founder D.R.Wijewardene, followed by an alms giving to the Maha Sangha at the ANCL premises yesterday. ANCL Chairman Krishantha Cooray offering Atapirikara to the Mahanayake of the Amarapura Chapter and Chief Incumbent of Dharmapalaramaya, Mount Lavinia, Most Ven. Kotugoda Dhammawasa Thera.
