Thihagoda needs hospital

There is no state hospital in the Thihagoda Divisional Secretariat Division at present, residents complain.

According to residents, two government dispensaries are functioning at Yatiyana and Naimbala.

Clinical facilities are hardly available there at present. Under these circumstances, people have to go to the Matara District General Hospital or Kamburupitiya Regional Base Hospital for treatment covering a distance of 10 to 12 kilometers.
