RIU int’l investor forum on march 4 in male

As part of an ongoing and sustained effort to connect Sri Lankan businesses with the global diaspora and with foreign investors looking at investing in Sri Lanka, Research Intelligence Unit (Pvt) Ltd. (RIU) will be hosting its next RIU Investor Forum 2019 along with the event’s platinum partner-Marina Square by Access Engineering, in the Maldives on March 4 at Hotel Jen, Malé.

The forum will be a business networking platform with the focus of expert commentators and the audience being on the current real estate opportunities in Sri Lanka.

RIU will be joined in Malé by some leading developers from Sri Lanka such as John Keells Holdings, Capitol Developers by Sanken and Prime Group at the event to assist the audience in further understanding the booming real estate market of Sri Lanka along with providing them with end solutions for their real estate needs. The Maldives has made rapid progress in recent years to become a middle-income country and at present, showcases the highest per-capita GDP in the South Asian region. Consequently, both Maldivian businesses as well as entrepreneurs have been actively engaged in real estate investments in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom and many other countries. For most Maldivians, Sri Lanka has been the perennial favourite second home destination. The Maldivian population resident in Colombo is estimated at between 11,000 – 16,000 and over 76,000 Maldivians have already visited Sri Lanka in 2018. The event will be attended by industry experts that includes Dr. Anil Priyanka Beddevithana (RIU), Nadeem Shums (John Keells Holdings), Shivanka De Zoysa (Access Engineering), Dishni de Thabrew (Capitol Developers), Shehana Brahmanage (Prime Group) and Roshan Madawela (RIU) who wil make presentations.
