The Imports Section of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Institute of Supply and Materials Management conducted a joint Seminar at the Chamber auditorium on January 24 on the theme ‘Why Supply Chain is considered key to profitability’.
The Guest Speakers were Jude Fernando, Director/CEO of Janashakthi Insurance PLC and Thusith Gunawarnasuriya, Procurement & Logistics Director of Insee Cement. The Panelists were Dinesh De Silva, Immediate Past Chairman of the Imports Section, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Danesha Perera, Director, Group Head of Supply Chain, Laugfs Holdings Ltd..
There was a record attendance of over 240 professionals from the supply chain profession, Finance and Accounts profession, Inventory Control profession and Warehouse and Logistics profession.
