Three Iranian ships depart following goodwill visit

The three Iranian naval ships; Bushehr, Lavan, and Bayandore; which arrived in the island on a training and goodwill visit, departed the Colombo harbour on completion of their four-day official visit, yesterday.

The Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ships at the harbour premises. During their stay in the country, the crew members of the ships took part in a number of programmes and events organised by the Navy and visited tourist attractions as well.
