A passenger died at the departure terminal at the Katunayake airport this morning.
The deceased is a 52-year-old Indian national. He has been identified as a small businessman in Ramanathapuram.
He arrived at the departure terminal at the Katunayake International Airport this morning at around 2 am.
The Airport Police has taken steps to inform the Indian High Commission of Sri Lanka of this death.
And the case has been reported to the Negombo Magistrate's Court.
The post mortem examination is being conducted by the Airport Police.
