A married couple in possessions of 3 kg of heroin worth Rs. 36 MN was nabbed by the Terrorism Investigation Division at Kiribathgoda yesterday, the police said.
The TID team has searched the suspects initially when they were riding in a three wheeler and the TID team has found 100 grams of heroin in their possession. The TID team then searched the suspects’ house where the 3kg of heroin was found.
The arrested male and the female are at the ages of 34-year-old and 36-year-old respectively.
The TID is further investigating.
