Sri Lanka Insurance join with Government Nursing Officers’ Association

Sri Lanka Insurance join hands with Government Nursing Officers’ Association a leading body of Sri Lanka’s health sector, providing comprehensive insurance solution for their vehicles. As the beginning of a long standing relationship a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Government Nursing Officers’ Association committing to provide unmatched benefits for over 30,000 professionals in health industry.

Speaking at the gathering the Chairman Dr.K.A.S. Keeragala said, “it is our privilege to join hands with the Government Nursing Officers’ Association, who is an integral body of the health sector. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is an endorsement of the trust people have placed upon SLIC as a government insurance entity. We hope to strengthen our relationship further by adding greater value through innovative product offerings in the future.”

“We look forward to continue this relationship further with extended benefits for Government Nursing Officers,” said Saman Rathnapriya , President of the Government Nursing Officers’ Association.

Under this collaboration SLIC offers protection for private vehicles of Government Nursing Officers and provide cover for accidental damages including numerous other perils occurred in private use and third party liabilities.

Also the policy provides call and move facility, accidental deathcover for the insured,free personal accidental cover for passengers, exclusive repair services at partnered premier vehicle agents authorized by SLIC, exclusive repair services and full reimbursement of repair cost from SLIC approved garages and rental allowances whilst the vehicle is under collision repair.

Established in 1962, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation is the largest government-owned insurance company in Sri Lanka, with a managed asset base of over Rs. 193 billion and a Life fund of over Rs. 100 billion, the largest in the local insurance industry.
