Central Expressway Phase II opens in July

The Central Expressway Phase II from Mirigama to Kurunegala will be opened by July end and about 90 per cent of its construction was complete now, Project Manager V. Mohan said.

Those who lost their lands for the expressway have been compensated and they were settled now, he said.

The project will cost Rs. 160.8 billion. The work commenced in January 2017, he said. The expressway from Colombo will connect Kandy and Dambulla, Mohan said.
