Two estate housing schemes opened

Hill Country New Villages Estate Infrastructure and Community Development Minister Palany Digambaram vested two housing schemes in the community last Thursday.

They are at Patana Bogahawatte estate and the other one at Mount Vernon estate.These individual houses built on par with the government’s green earth work project has seven perches each.

This scheme was named as Shri Ramakrishnapuram, in memory of a person who dedicated his life for the uplift of the estate community. This village has 55 houses with water, electricity and other infrastructure.

Shri Kumaravelpuram has 50 houses with each house built a seven perches.
