Pickpockets, a menace in hospital

A group of women pickpockets frequenting Dambulla Hospital premises have become a nuisance to out-patients. The women pose as patients and try to befriend other patients with the intention of theft.

The problem has been going on for the last few months. Hospital authorities have advised patients to beware of pickpockets frequenting the hospital premises.
