ITN cameraman injured in accident

A journalist of the Independent Television Network (ITN) received serious injuries when his motorbicycle was run over by a speeding car and a lorry at Wijerama Road in Colombo 7 on Wednesday. The victim Suneth Hewawitharana works as a journalist and a cameraman at ITN.

He had been rushing back to hand over visuals of a news coverage which he had being assigned. He was immediately admitted to the National Hospital.
