Motorcyclist dies in accident

A person succumbed to his injuries after three motorcycles crashed into each other and fell into a precipice in Mahakubukkadawela on Sunday night.

According to the police, the accident took place due to the reckless riding of the motorcyclists. Two motorcyclists who received serious injuries were immediately admitted to Anamaduwa Government Hospital. The deceased motorcyclist was identified as Badurdeen Mohammed Sibran, 20, a resident of Nanmuwawa, Hidogama in Nikaweratiya.

The postmortem was to be carried out by the Inquirer into Sudden Deaths of Anamaduwa Government Hospital.

Mundalama Police are investigating.
