Highlands College Maharagama participated in the Eureka International Competition held in India organized by the City Montessori school Lucknow India and bagged the following awards at the competition - Second place for collage, First consolation for science model and second consolation for cultural dance.
The Participants were Seniru Anuhas, Hasara Dinomi, Lithum Lohitha, Dinini Savidya, Jetha Vinusara,Thenuka Dilthini, Nimna Thathsarani, Rayan Wanninayaka,and Viruna Rashmika and teachers in charge were Pramila Kulathilaka and Suranji Botheju.
The Competition was held in India from December 15 – 19. Sixty six teams participated in the competition including Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
