Four UPFA members join SLPP in Moratuwa MC

Four members of the United Peoples' Freedom Alliance sitting in the Opposition in the Moratuwa Municipal Council yesterday sat with the ruling party; Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

The event took place during the first council meeting held by the SLPP run Council for this year.

The meeting was held under the patronage of mayor Samanlal Fernando.

With the UPFA members joining the SLPP, the SLPP now has 27 members while the opposition has 21 members.
