The awards ceremony commending the committed service of the Bandaragama Police was held at the Lanka Reception Hall in Bandaragama, recently.
In parallel to the event, a get-together of police officers and their family members were also held at the same place on December 30, where an art competition was held for the children of the police officers. The event was presided by Panadura Division SSP Laksiri Wijesena.
The event, which was organised by the Bandaragama Police OIC W.L.K. Wickramaratne, was participated by Panadura ASP Susil Wijegunawardena and veteran writer Soma Jayakody as well.
