Kataragama PS Budget passed

The Budget 2019 of the Kataragama Pradeshiya Saba was passed with a majority of 14, Chairman Chanaka Amila Ranagana told the media.

The Pradeshiya Sabha has 16 seats. There are seven members from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, one seat for the UPFA, six for the UNP and two members from the JVP.

The vote was conducted by a show of hands at the request of the chairman. The two JVP members Anura Gallewatta and K.D. Vimalatissa voted against the Budget.
