The water supply will be suspended on Saturday, December 15 for a period of 18 hours to undertake a road development activity.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board(NWSDB) said that the supply of water will be interrupted from 12 midnight on Saturday and last until 6 pm on Sunday.
The water supply suspension will be effective in Moragasmulla, Rajagiriya, Ethul - Kotte, Obesekarapura, Bandaranayakepura, Nawala, Koswatta and areas along the main road from Rajagiriya to Nawala Open University.
A 24 - hour water cut would be imposed between 7 pm on Thursday, December 13 to 7 pm on Friday, December 14, due to urgent maintenance work of the Nuwarawewa Water Purification Plant, the NWSDB announced.
The water supply to Anuradhapura - Stage I, II and III, Vijayapura, Jaffna junction, Kurundankulam, Mihintale and Rambewa would be interrupted.
