Chethaka Denuwan left hand batsman of St. Servatius College Matara made a century against St. Anthony’s College Wattala in their fixture of the ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 19 inter Schools Cricket tournament played at Matara yesterday.
St. Servatius Matara scored 357 runs for 8 wickets in their first innings. Chethaka Denuwan scored 119 runs in 138 balls with 16 boundaries and a six. Risira Lakwin scored 66 runs. Arintha Chaturanga took 3 wickets. St. Anthony’s Wattala scored 16 runs for one wicket at close in day one. Match will be continued today (12) for day two.
