We will make any sacrifice to establish a stable government in Sri Lanka, SLFP Senior Vice President and MP W.D.J. Seneviratne said.
According to Seneviratne, no one expects to obtain a ministerial portfolio because all aim to support the brave decision made by President Maithripala Sirisena and will make any sacrifice to form a stable government.
He was speaking to his supporters who gathered at his Godagama residence in Ratnapura yesterday. MP Seneviratne said they had done everything possible to unite President Sirisena and Prime Minister Rajapaksa and today it has become a reality. “A lot of criticism was pointed at us at that time, but we did not give up. There were several who did not like our effort.”
The policies of the President and the Prime Minister are well matched and a lot of relief measures were offered to the people as soon as the new Prime Minister was appointed.
The Prime Minister has saved this country and the people from ruthless terrorists. Now the country’s future is in safe hands and the Prime Minster will save the country from the present economic crisis, he said.
