Coaching is the way forward for almost all the corporates to unlock the potentials of their talent pool said the Founder, Director/CEO, Dayalanie Abeygunawardena in her address at the launch of Fortitude Executive Coaching (Pvt) Ltd on August 24, 2018 at Hilton Colombo Residences.
The event was attended by a distinguish gathering from the corporate sector as well as leading personalities from different sectors. Chandra Schaffter founder of Janashakthi Insurance and Lilani Schaffter graced the occasion as chief guests whilst Jayantha Fernando, President of the Association of Professional Coaches (APC), was the guest of honour.
Most Venerable Thirikunamale Ananda Mahanayake Thero and other respected Thero’s from the Siri Vajiraramaya invoked blessing by chanting Pirith inaugurating the launch of Fortitude Executive Coaching (Pvt) Ltd.
Chief Guest Chandra Schaffter and Dayalanie Abeygunawardena launched the website of the company followed by the introductory presentation highlighting the vision of the company.
Abeygunawardena also in her address said that coaching is an art which paves the pathway for deep sustainable transformation of individuals. She further explained how coaching facilitates to bring about clarity and lightness in one’s life be it at office or personal life overcoming competitive pressure and negativity. She stated that she is committed to couple her passion for talent development with her long years of corporate experience and training received through her professional coaching to help and transform individuals to achieve the best version of themselves and stressed a coach is by far a value builder and a value shaper. Jayantha Fernando guest of honour in his delivery explained the importance of coaching specially in the corporate sector context. How individuals as well as companies could improve their talent pool through coaching. He also mentioned how Association of Professional coaches which was formed recently are working hard to take this message across to all sectors.
Chandra Schaffter the chief guest in his address explained the benefit of having a coach for life and or for business related matters.
He further said that coaching is a journey and not a destination so partnering with a professional coach certainly would uplift their performance either in sports, business or as an individual.
