I. Mohamed Hammath, S.N. Ahamed Hamthany Kariyapper and H. Ahnaf Abdullah in Grade 6 at Munawwara Junior College, Akkaraipattu won the first place for Maths Olympiad Competitive Exam (Category-I) at the Provincial Level Competition -2018 organised by the Eastern Province Education Department, recently.
H. Ahnaf Abdullah in Grade 6 and Aththaf Aflath in Grade 9 of Akkaraipattu Munawwara Junior College were selected to compete at the International Level Maths Olympiad which will be held in Singapore from July 26 to 3.
Students regularly participate in these competitions bagging several awards, said Principal A.G. Anver. Winners were congratulated by the Akkaraipattu Zonal Education Director A.M. Rahmathullah, Assistant Education Director (Mathematics) A.L.A.M. Yoosuff, Principal, Teachers, School Development Association (SDA) officials and parents.
