Dubai-bound passenger nabbed with Walla Patta

A passenger who had attempted to board a plane about to leave the Katunayake International Airport, was apprehended by Sri Lanka Customs officials with a stock of Walla Patta in his possession, yesterday morning.

Customs sources said the suspect, a 33-year-old resident of Kuruwita, Ratnapura, had hidden the stock weighing over 18 kilograms worth over Rs. 1.2 million in his travelling bag.
