The Buddhist Advisory Council

​The Buddhist Advisory Council was convened under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday evening to discuss the steps that need to be taken towards the further strengthening of the Buddha Sasana. Polonnaruwa Solosmathanathipathi, Siyam Maha Nikaya, Asgiri Chapter, Anunayake Ven. Wedaruwe Upali Thera, Asgiri Chapter Chief Secretary, Anuradhapura Bhikku University, Senior Lecturer Ven Anamaduwe Dhammadassi Anunayake Thera, Shasthrapathi Rajakeeya Panditha Mahalle Dharma Keerthi Sri Sumangala Vipulatissabhidana Sanganayaka Thera, Ven Narampanawe Ananda Thera and other Prelates were present at the discussion along with Buddha Sasana Ministry Secretary Chandraprema Gamage.
