Social media and the Kekille judgement

According to a news report some 186 facebook accounts were to be investigated for allegedly being responsible for the recent attacks on mosques and temples and the murder of two persons. But several millions of innocent users of social media are penalized by depriving them of their legitimate rights while they pay tax for the maintenance of institutions that are expected to prevent and control such acts of disruption. How do the authorities justify its anti-social act to cover up its incompetence?
