‘Sundara Sendewa Handunagaththoth oba maa’, a popular Sinhala Radio programme conducted by veteran radio artistes Nelum Kalubowila airs at 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm every Friday on Sri Lanka Commercial Service (Sinhala).
Started on February 2, the programme has featured Damitha Abeyratne, Anula Karunatillake, Nadeeka Gunasekara, Nuwan Nayanajith Kumara, Anuradha Nandasiri, Keerthi Pasquel and Nilmini Tennakone.
A list of popular cinema stars including Sanath Gunatillake, Swarna Mallawarachchi, Jayasekara Aponsu, Kamal Addaraarawchchi, Sriyani Amerasena are also to be featured in the coming programme.
‘Sundara Sendewa Handunagaththoth oba maa’, aired on FM 94.3 and 94.5, discusses serous issues relating to society and shares experiences of the artistes featured in the programme.
Experienced announcer Nelum Kalubowila is the only sister of another veteran announcer Chitra Kumari Kalubowila.
