Civil security guard nabbed for child abuse

A civil security guard who had allegedly abused a child, was arrested by Galewela Police on Thursday at Pahalawewa.

Investigations revealed that the suspect had allegedly abducted the child in a vehicle before committing the said crime.

Police said that the suspect is a father of two and a resident of the same area. He was to be produced at the Dambulla Magistrate's Court on Thursday (15).

Galewela police are investigating.
