Dialog shines again at SLIM-Nielsen People’s Awards

Sri Lankan consumers once again voted Dialog as the Telecom Service Provider and Internet Service Provider of the Year at the SLIM-Nielsen People’s Awards 2018.

The People’s Awards are based on the feedback and votes of Sri Lankan consumers, and Dialog was voted as the preferred Telecom Service Provider for a record seventh year running. Dialog’s triumph as the Internet Service Provider of the Year is for the sixth consecutive year and recognizes the delivery on its commitment as the number one and fastest network as endorsed by the Sri Lankan consumer.

Dialog continues to pursue a journey of excellence, by delivering the widest coverage, fastest speeds while being at the forefront of multiple innovations, spearheading the development of mobile telephony in the country and the region.

Supun Weerasinghe, Group Chief Executive of Dialog Axiata PLC said, “We will continue to be a key driver and a catalyst, enabling a connected nation, whilst accelerating the country towards a digital Sri Lanka.” He added, “This recognition resonates the sentiments of all Sri Lankans and the value we create and deliver as espoused in our vision of empowering and enriching Sri Lankan lives and enterprises.”

This year was the twelfth edition of the People’s Awards programme hosted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, with research conducted in association with Nielsen.
