Blue Lily House of Akkaraipattu Zahira Vidyalaya emerged champions collecting 254 points. Sun Flower (Yellow) 187 and Lotus Hose (Red) 186 points finished second and third respectively. at the Inter House Kids Athletic Meet -2018 held at Municipal Play Grounds, Akkaraipattu recently.
About 500 students from Grade 01 to Grade 05 classes took part in the meet. Sprit Hurdles, Mixed Relay, Kids Javelin, Stop Jump, Cross Hopping, Forward Squat, Shooting and filling bottles with water were some of the games engaged by the children.
The prize giving ceremony was presided over by school principal M.I.M.Iliyas. The Chief Guest and the other guests were received by the Principal of the school, M.I.M.Iliyas and delivered the welcome address.
The Akkaraipattu Zonal Education Director A.M.Rahmathullah, Deputy Education Director A.H.Fous, Akkaraipattu Divisional Education Officer M.A.Kaleelur Rahman, Assistant Education Directors M.M.Sithy Fathima, S.M.Jameel, M.I.M.Uwais, and A.L.Iqbal, In-Service Advisors S.L.Mansoor, A.L.Fais, M.A.Thahir and Principals of the area were present as guests at prize giving ceremony and distributed prizes and certificates to the winners.
Deputy and Vice Principals, Teachers, SDC officials, Parents, Past Pupils and well – wishers participated on this occasion.
