Suneth Malinga Lokuhewa of ‘Sinhawalokana’ and ‘Spandana’ fame will be bringing his latest movie, a beautiful and tragic love story which centers around a beautiful girl, a soldier who is lost at war and a fatherless child.
Former Army Commander Daya Ratnayake’s son Yasas Ratnayake will enter the film scene as Colonel Wickramasinghe. Indian actress Anchel Singh who portrayed Yashodara’s character in ‘Sri Siddhartha Gauthama’ plays the female lead. Sriyani Amarasena, Dushyanth Weeraman, W Jayasiri, Douglas Ranasinghe, Dharshan Dharmaraj, Charith Abeysinghe, Shalini Tharaka, Ramani Siriwardena and others make up the rest of the cast.
The story, and screen play is by Saman Weeraman who is also the advisor to the project. Prabath Roshan is the cinematographer. Dhanushka Jayawardena is the assistant director. Dharshana Ruwan Dissanayake is the music director. Bandula Nanayakkarawasam, Nandana Wickramage and Amila Thenuwara penned the lyrics. Uresha Ravihari, Dumal Warnakula and Shammika Amani have rendered their voices for the songs of the film.
Prabath Chaminda Perera, Harris Uddhika Mahadivulwewa, Nalin Nishantha Dharmapriya and Leel Prasanna Dassanayake have produced the movie on behalf of Aakarsha Film Productions.
