UNP Gen. Secy. yet to accept Bandara’s resignation

UNP General Secretary Kabir Hashim is yet to officially accept the resignation of Irrigation and Water Management State Minister Palitha Range Bandara from his position as UNP Chief Organizer for the Anamaduwa electorate.

The UNP political sources in the Kurunegala district told the Daily News yesterday that Bandara had tendered his resignation as he had failed to acquire the sufficient number of votes at the recent LG polls for the UNP.
