Measures of good governance
How can we judge the present Government? There are certain basic needs and rights needed for Good Governance. The economic growth, media freedom, the freedom to strike and good democracy are needed for Good Governance.
Now this government has given enough freedom to media and for strike. They have also given rights for the minorities. People knew how minorities were ruled during the previous regime. They were assaulted and religious places of minorities were attacked. Was that good governance?
Therefore, let us think freely and decide well to cast our valuable votes to the suitable party who can sustain peace and democracy in this country.
President Maithripala Sirisena has the ability to rule the country in good measure with the support of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
